BB - Baby Bass or Black

Silver green body with black scale pattern, black spine and face, black irregular shaped spots along either side, light gray belly and white or yellow eyes. This is a cataloged color for River Runt Spooks as well as other Heddon lures in 1979. There are a couple of variations of this color in the Tiny River Runt Spooks. One has gold scales rather than green and the pattern of the scales is much larger. Also, there was a 'commerative' issue that dates to sometime in 1993 that had gold colored hardware on it.

In the 2000's, Heddon changed this color to a brighter green scale pattern with random black markings (sometimes referred to as Coachdog markings). This is a current production as of 2012.

This color code was also used for Heddon's Triple Teazer lure (1000BB) model with a Black bucktail, c. 1929. (Picture not available)
