GRS - Green Scale

COLOR NAME: Green Scale
COLOR CODES: GRS
LURE(S) PICTURED: Big Hedd (9330GRS), Moss Boss (515GRS), Zaragossa (6500GRS)
DESCRIPTION:

Although similar, all three lures pictured above in GRS have distinctive features as follows:

Big Hedd: Silver body with light green scale pattern and black spots, white belly. This is a un cataloged color for the Big Hedd (c. 1970's). This is pictured in and identified as GRS in the book, Heddon Plastics Collectibles - 1st Edition, by Masami Takeyama and Tetsuyha Kumada.

Moss Boss: Green plastic body with yellow and gold scales on one side and is solid green on the other. It came with a yellow rubber skirt. This is a cataloged color for this lure from 1980 thru 1982 but for some reason, the catalogs do not list the color name so it may not be Green Scale.

Zaragossa: Green Body with a green and silver scale pattern on the sides and a white belly. This was 1 of 4 lures Heddon re-issued in wood in 1965 as their Wood Classics series. This is a cataloged color for this lure and was named Green Scale. (Pictures of Zaragossa courtesy of Frank Cristao!)
