DESCRIPTION:

Solid black body with solid white head and gold eyes. Cataloged for River Runt Spooks in 1938 and last listed in 1943. The color code changed in 1946 from 9GWH to BWH. After 1943 it was a uncataloged color for River Runt Spooks as evidenced by the Go-Deeper with the step lip, a model which wasn't made until 1949.

Heddon's Meadow Mouse lure came in a painted finish and also with a 'fur finish'. Those with a fur finish had the letter designation "F" preceding the series number; c. 1930's

The Crazy Crawler in BWH has white 'wings' on the body and in the case of the earlier version, has white rib pattern on the belly. The later version does not have the ribs on the belly and the name was changed for the color to Black Hornet, c. 1979.
