LURE(S) PICTURED: River Runt Spook Floater (9400SS), Big Tiger (1040SS), Super Sonic (9385SS), Tiny Sinking River Runt Spook (350SS)
DESCRIPTION: River Runt Spook: White body with silver glitter (flitter) on sides. Silver scale pattern on spine and belly. Dark green face with gold eyes. Cataloged for River Runt Spooks in 1936. Color code changed to SS in 1946 as well as the name to Silver Flitter.

In 1968, this code was also called "Silver Flash" for the Heddon Big Tiger lure, having green head and green scale pattern on the spine, a silver insert inside the body and silver glitter on the sides.

The Tiny Sinking River Runt Spook differs from the others as it has red blush around the eyes. This is a later version of the SS color.
