DESCRIPTION:

Nickel finish or nickel plate body with a weed guard and a feather or 'fly' dressing with hook. When first cataloged for the years 1924-1925, this lure was listed is different metallic finishes (nickel, copper, gold) and with or without the weed guard and the feather dressing which was referred in the catalog as a 'fly'. In subsequent years of production, the weed guard and 'fly' were a standard part of the lure.1

This box appears to have been mis-marked as the letters are reversed.
