Update: The following was received in a email dated 11/20/2009:

" My name is Anthony “Tony” Jones. My dad Bob Jones worked at Heddon’s for 26 years. He was Chief of Research and Development for many years. Some of the lure’s that are shown on your Unknown Heddon Colors, were not production runs. I had asked dad to paint me some special colors to try in bass tournaments I was fishing in New Mexico and Texas. The Chugger # 6, I called Jones Green. It did not come in a standard Heddon Box. It’s been a while since I rummaged through my boxes, but I think I’ve seen a #11, #12, #72, #17 (with rattles), #22, #48, #54, #55 , #59 (9540), #61 (White Wing), #62, #63 and a #64 some where in there.."
