W+9PL - Luminous Pearl

The "W" prefix appears in Heddon's 1936 and 1937 catalogs in listings for luminous color lures for the River Runt Spook Sinker. (To view an article on this subject and a picture of the catalog listing, click HERE.) This color is Pearl with luminous or solid white paint on the belly, gold eyes and two piece hardware. It differs from the standard Pearl color as that color has a silver scale belly. (Special thanks to Jeff O'Connell for the pictures!)
