This color only came with gold eyes. Introduced in 1937 for River Runt Spooks as well as other Heddon lures. Red & White Shore Minnow (XRW): In 1946, the color code changed to XRW and the red scale pattern on the center rib disappeared and was replaced with a solid silver center rib. The color name also changed to Red & White Shore Minnow. XRW also came with both gold and yellow eyes. A much later verison of this color had a solid white body and was not transparent. One variation of this color is shown by the Midget River Runt Spook which has a brownish-red or sienna face. This color is sometimes found without the red face, some because it was poorly painted or wore off and some that it was never applied. |
