FLOATING MODELS

The following are the floating models of River Runt Spook lures. The Heddon numbering for the colors changed in the late 1940's. When applicable, both numbers are listed with the earlier number in parenthesis. (Click on all pictures to enlarge).

Floater

Floating River Runt Spook, series #9400: First appeared in 1935; 3 1/8" long, 3/5 oz.; in early 1950's, it was also referred to as Floating-Diving; color shown - Silver Shore Minnow - Heddon #9400XRS (9409XRS Pre-WWII). Printed on bottom: "Heddon River Runt Spook Floater."




Jointed Floater

Jointed Floating River Runt Spook, series #9430: Produced in 1935 along with the regular floater; 4" long, 3/4 oz.; in early 1950's, it was also referred to as Floating-Diving; color shown - Yellow Shore Minnow - Heddon #9430XRY (9439XRY Pre-WWII). Printed on bottom: "Heddon River Runt Spook Floater."




Tiny Floating

Tiny Floating-Diving Runt, series #340: Introduced in 1953; 2 1/4" long, 1/4 oz.; color shown - Silver Shore Minnow - Heddon #340RH. Printed on bottom: "Heddon Tiny Floating Runt."
