IDENTIFICATION AND VALUE GUIDE TO SOUTH BEND LURES By Terry Wong. MUST HAVE book for South Bend collectors!

AMBASSADUER AND I by Simon Shimomura. A complete study of Ambassaduer reels; available at: Mr. Ambassadeur web site.

HEDDON PLASTICS COLLECTIBLES by Masami Takeyama and Tatsuya Kumada. A comprehensive color book for classic Heddon plastic lures.

THE HISTORY & COLLECTIBLE FISHING TACKLE OF WISCONSIN by Robert A. Slade. A history and identification guide to Wisconsin fishing tackle; hardcover; color; value guide. Out of print but can be purchased here.

MEISSELBACH and MEISSELBACH-CATUCCI FISHING REELS - A COLLECTOR'S GUIDE and WINCHESTER FISHING TACKLE, both by Phil White.

FISHING TACKLE MADE IN MISSOURI by Dean Murphy. A history and identification of Missouri tackle; softcover; black & white.

MADE IN MICHIGAN FISHING LURES by George Richey. History and identification of Michigan fishing lures; softcover; black & white.

THE FISHING LURE COLLECTOR'S BIBLE by R.L. Streater with Rick Edmisten and Dudley Murphy; softcover; color; Released in 1999; contains pictures and value guide.

OLD FISHING LURES AND TACKLE, by Carl F. Luckey. One of the "bibles" of tackle collecting; an excellent source for identifying and learning about the history of fishing tackle; softcover; color; value guide.

FISHING TACKLE ANTIQUES AND COLLECTABLES by Karl T. White. Another of the "bibles" which has been updated periodically; softcover; color; value guide.

COLLECTOR'S GUIDE TO CREEK CHUB LURES & COLLECTIBLES by Harold E. Smith, M.D. Hardcover and with lots of full color pictures, this is a MUST book for Creek Chub collectors but even if Creek Chub is not your field, it is a valuable reference; value guide.

JAMES HEDDON'S SONS CATALOGUES by THE BASSMAN (Clyde Harbin) - this is a compilation of Heddon catalogs beginning from 1903 and ending in 1953. All years are not included, however. Excellent reference for Heddon collectors.

FISHING LURE COLLECTIBLES by Dudley Murphy and Rick Edmisten. Hardcover book with full color pictures of fishing tackle. The book was recently re-issued to update the prices; hardcover; color; value guide.
