SINKING MODELS

The following constitute the sinking models of River Runt Spook lures. The Heddon numbering for the colors changed in the late 1940's. When applicable, both numbers are listed with the later number in parenthesis. (Click on all pictures to enlarge).
Standard Sinking Standard Sinking River Runt Spook, series #9110: First of the series, introduced in 1933; 2 1/2" long, 1/2 oz.;color shown - Yellow Perch Scale - Heddon #9119L (9110L). Printed on bottom: "Heddon River Runt Spook Sinker."
Jointed Sinking Jointed Sinking River Runt Spook, series #9330: Introduced in 1937; 2 3/4" long, 4/7 oz.;color shown - Black & White Shore Minnow - Heddon #9339XBW (9330XBW). Bottom marking: "Heddon River Runt Spook Sinker."
River Runtie Spook

River Runtie Spook, series #950: Fly lure, first produced in 1937; 1 1/4" long, 1/25 oz.;color shown - Silver Shore Minnow - Heddon #959XRS (950XRS). Bottom is marked 'HEDDON' but can be unmarked as well.
Midget River Runt Spook
Midget River Runt Spook, series #9010: First produced in 1939; 2 1/4" long, 3/8 oz.;color shown - Spotted - Heddon #9019S (9010S). Bottom marking: "Heddon Midget River Runt."
No-Snag River Runt Spook
No-Snag River Runt Spook, series #D9110: First year of manufacture was 1941; 2 1/2" long, 1/2 oz.; used the same body as the Standard Sinking; color shown - Dace Scale - Heddon #N9119N (N9110N). Bottom marking: "Heddon River Runt Spook Sinker."
Midgit Digit River Runt Spook

Midgit Digit River Runt Spook, series #9020: First year of manufacture was 1949; 1 5/8" long, 3/8 oz.; color shown - Pike Scale - Heddon #9020M. Bottom marking: "Heddon Midgit Digit."

Tiny Runt

Tiny Runt (sinking), series #350: First year of manufacture was 1953; 2 1/8" long, 1/5 oz.; advertised for use as a spinning lure; color shown - Spotted Orange - Heddon #350SO. Bottom marking: "Heddon Tiny Runt."
