UNKNOWN HEDDON COLORS AND COLOR CODES

This page is dedicated to identifying the name of Heddon colors and their respective color codes. The real color name and color code for these lures is unknown!

If you have a Heddon lure in any of the colors shown and know the color name and/or have the box, EMAIL ME with the information and a picture if possible,
showing the lure and/or the end of the box showing the code!

UPDATE - 11/20/2009: I received the following email which might shed some light on many of these lures!

"My name is Anthony “Tony” Jones. My dad Bob Jones worked at Heddon’s for 26 years. He was Chief of Research and Development for many years. Some of the lures that are shown on your Unknown Heddon Colors, were not production runs. I had asked dad to paint me some special colors to try in bass tournaments I was fishing in New Mexico and Texas. The Chugger # 6, I called Jones Green. It did not come in a standard Heddon Box. It’s been a while since I rummaged through my boxes, but I think I’ve seen a #11, #12, #72, #17 (with rattles), #22, #48, #54, #55 , #59 (9540), #61 (White Wing), #62, #63 and a #64 some where in there.."

Click on the picture or name for more information on each lure!
